Black History…Our History! The duPont Manual High School Drama Club is presenting its Annual Black History Month Celebration on THIS Friday, Feb 24, 2017. The program will take place WHITE 2 in the Manual Auditorium and should last the entire period. All attendees are asked to please report to the auditorium immediately after attendance is taken. The program will begin promptly at 9:30 and end at 10:45.
Students may attend the Black History Program with a parent note. You must submit a parent note to your W2 teacher before the program. It is a student’s responsibility to request and make-up any missed assignments.

Science Fair Informational Meeting: TUESDAY, Feb 21 from 2.30 – 3.30 PM in the Auditorium (Location change). We would like to invite MST students to attend an informational meeting about the Regional Science Fair which is coming up in less than 3 weeks! There are several changes to the fair this year - starting with the venue. The fair will be held at the JCTC Health Services building instead of at UofL. The logistics and layout for the science fair are all new and different this year. Please come to an informational meeting to learn about these changes.
Please bring $10 for your registration fees. Also, we are not asking for donations of snacks or food this year. DMRSEF will provide food and drinks. However, if you could please make a donation of any amount to help us, please bring cash or a check! Parents are welcome to attend.

Dear Manual Students and Parents:
The Guidance Office will conduct the annual scheduling sessions for the 2017-18 school year February 20th through March 1st. All Course Request Forms will be due to the Guidance Office no later than Friday, March 10.
You may access the 2017-18 Scheduling Book by visiting www.dupontmanual.com and clicking on Counselors. You will see the scheduling book in the upper left hand corner of the page.
Students, you will receive a hard copy of the scheduling book, scheduling instructions and a course request form at a scheduling session. Because we will be working in small groups, there will be plenty of time to ask questions about scheduling courses and how scheduling relates to the college application process.
Scheduling Sessions: (Scheduling Session Calendar is attached)
J&C, VA and YPAS Students: The counselors will meet with you during your magnet courses.
HSU & MST Students: The counselors will meet with you in the auditorium during your study skills class. If you do not have a study skills, you will be able to attend any session for your grade level. (The Guidance Office will provide you with a note to attend.)
