For Seniors and Parents of Seniors: THE JEFFERSON SCHOLARS PROGRAM - UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA - Jefferson Scholars Scholarships provide full tuition, fees, and a living stipend for four years of undergraduate study at the University of Virginia, plus a number of generous enrichment benefits, including a study abroad experience. Students selected are based on demonstrated excellence and exceptional potential in the areas of leadership, scholarship, and citizenship. Please come out to the Coast to Coast College Tour - Louisville Information Session on Tuesday, October 2nd at 7:00 p.m. in our school’s auditorium. The Coast to Coast Tour is a joint travel partnership bringing together admissions representatives from Dartmouth College, Northwestern University, Princeton University, University of California-Berkley and Vanderbilt University. They travel together because each of their institutions practices a holistic admissions process in a highly selective environment. This program will provide you with the opportunity to learn about each individual institution, receive insight on navigating the selective admissions process and gives students the ability to connect with representatives from each institution. To All Juniors: If you are interested in applying to the KY Governor’s Scholars Program, please plan to attend one of the informational meetings on Monday, October 1st at 7:00 a.m. or Tuesday, October 2nd at 2:30 p.m. Both sessions will be held in the auditorium (please only attend one session.) Senior Night for Boys Soccer is next Tuesday, October 2nd at Manual Stadium! Come to the 7:00 p.m. game and send off your seniors! YPAS Prism Concert will be held on Wednesday, October 3rd at 7:00 p.m. in the Polly St. Clair Hall. School-time Performance will be October 4th at 10:00 a.m. This concert features a full spectrum of music from our band, choir, guitar, orchestra and piano departments. The Junior vs. Senior Powder Puff Game will be held on Thursday, October 18th at 7:30 p.m. at duPont Manual Memorial Stadium. For Seniors and Parents of Seniors: THE JEFFERSON SCHOLARS PROGRAM - UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA - Jefferson Scholars Scholarships provide full tuition, fees, and a living stipend for four years of undergraduate study at the University of Virginia, plus a number of generous enrichment benefits, including a study abroad experience. Students selected are based on demonstrated excellence and exceptional potential in the areas of leadership, scholarship, and citizenship. The awards primary purpose is the goal of attracting the most promising and most talented students in the country. This scholarship is by Nomination. Manual may nominate one student for this award.
