Ongoing News:
• Attention: The ACT Test will be administered to ALL 11th Graders on Tuesday, March 1, 2016. The 9th & 10th Graders will take the TCA Practice ACT that day as well. All students 9-11th grade are reminded to get a good nights rest, arrive to school on time, and have their approved calculators. All students will report straight to their homerooms. Good luck on test day!
• Parents of Seniors-Class of 2016 Day of Service. This year each member of the Senior Class is offered the opportunity to complete a day of service in the community on Tuesday, March 1st.
• Reminder-Parent/Teacher Conferences are Tuesday & Wednesday, March 1 & 2 from 3-6:30pm. Please be sure to sign-up on dupontmanual.com in center of homepage.

• THE PTSA IS RECRUITING FOR NEXT YEAR'S EXECUTIVE BOARD AND COMMITTEE CHAIRS Our PTSA iscompletely volunteer driven and our success is because of those who generously give their time and talents to our organization. There are opportunities to work independently and those with minimal commitment. Please consider volunteering next year as a Committee Chair (or find a friend and Co-Chair) or serving on our Executive Board. • MAKE PLANS TO ATTEND PUBLISHERS TRIVIA NIGHT FRIDAY, MARCH 11th!! Publishers is hosting their first annual Trivia Night and Silent Auction on Friday, March 11th at Manual in the freshmen cafeteria! We encourage and welcome Manual teachers, administration staff, students, families, friends, and anyone who wants to have a fun evening. Doors open at 6:15 with the first question being read at 7:00 pm. There will be plenty of good food and refreshments so get your trivia teams together and come join us for a fun evening! • All Sophomores and Juniors wishing to apply for NHS must have applications and fees turned in to Ms. Mattingly in room 150 by 2:30 on Feb 29. No Exceptions.
• Junior Steering Committee will meet Monday, March 7 to discuss and hand out information regarding senior class officers @ 2:30 in room 221.
• The Manual PTSA is pleased to again offer four scholarships to Seniors this school year. Each in the amount of $625. The minimum weighted GPS is 3.0 and the deadline to apply is March 16. • "In addition to the four traditional scholarships awarded to graduating seniors, the PTSA is also awarding a special $500 scholarship to a graduating GAP or ECE student. To be considered, student must be a graduating senior and member in good standing of the duPont Manual PTSA. There are no requirements (grade point average, etc.) other than having overcome significant obstacles on the path to graduating!"
