The National English Honor Society will be having a bake sale after school in center hall. Items will be sold for $.50 to $1.

Please join the Key Club for their annual Trivia Night to benefit UNICEF's Project Eliminate TONIGHT, in the senior cafeteria. Doors open at 6:15 and we will begin promptly at 7 pm. Cost is $75/table of 6 or $15 for individuals. You are welcome to bring in food and non-alcoholic beverages and there will be food and beverages for sale. They have collected several donations from local businesses for door prizes and at least first place. We hope to see you there!

• Bishop Gene Robinson, a nationally recognized speaker, author and LGBT activist, will speak Nov. 22 at 4 p.m. in the Manual Auditorium. This is part of the ConsiderThis speaker series organized by J&C and The Publishers. The event is free and open to the public, but a $5 donation is requested. Baked goods will be for sale from 2:30 to 4 p.m. just outside the auditorium. For more information about this or future speakers go to www.ThePublishers.org. All donations and proceeds from the bake sale will be used by The Publishers to help support J&C.
• Basketball Season is coming up and the boys basketball team is selling STADIUM BLEACHER SEATS! These seats feature bungee cord cushioning, a durable steel frame and are made of tough cordova canvas. They are available in red or black with an embroidered M on them. Seats easily attach to metal or wood bleachers and provide comfortable back support. Order your seat by contacting Patti Carns at 303-0736 or by email at JPCarns@bellsouth.net. • Seniors - as you think about college choices and financial aid, consider applying for a PTSA Scholarship. The DuPont Manual PTSA generously awards up to four $600 scholarships each school year to students who are pursing higher education or vocational training. • Crimson Mission Gala March 4 at The Henry Clay--- Auction Items needed! This year we are looking to get some "BIg TIcket" items to auction off during a live auction.
