As we inch closer to the end of the school year, AP testing is drawing near. Has your student started studying yet? AP exams begin on Monday, May 7th!
Did you know that our College & Career Center (CCC) in the Guidance Office has several AP exam test prep books (Barron’s, Princeton Review, Crash Course, 5 Steps to a 5, Kaplan) available for check out? We also have Barron’s and Kaplan flash cards, which are fantastic, and provide a different method for learning the material.
To take advantage of these valuable resources made possible by the Manual PTSA, the student just needs to visit the CCC, select the desired exam book(s) and/or flash cards, and record their name, the item(s), and their cell number in the black CCC binder on the desk.
We ask that all materials are returned promptly when finished so that others may use them for make up exams or in the future. Additionally, the CCC would welcome any donation of gently used exam books and/or flash cards after the testing period has finished. This allows us to keep a healthy updated inventory for future students. Students may drop off their prep materials in the CCC anytime in May.
Also – WE NEED YOUR HELP!
The school must fill over 150 volunteer slots to proctor AP exam testing May 7 – 18 and we have many spots unfilled. Click here to sign up now:
