First Two Life Skills Seminar Topics: Taxes & Voting

First Two Life Skills Seminar Topics: Taxes & Voting

A trial run of Life Skill Seminars will happen at Monday’s (3/25) Crimson Hour.  The objective of Life Skills Seminars is to introduce interested students to a range of grown-up topics that don’t fit into curriculum such as changing tires, understanding credit, etc..

During Monday’s Crimson Hour, we will have two presentations. The first topic, Taxes, will be presented by Delene Taylor, CPA and Manual PTSA Board alum.  Interested students should bring their lunch to Ms. Bickel’s room on Monday. The second topic will be Voting (registering to vote, voting when you’re in college, etc.). This will be hosted by Lynn Deveaux and Kent Hall, both of whom have worked in voter registration and are Manual parents. This will be in Ms. Spiegelhalter’s room (325).

We anticipated having future seminars to address students’ needs. If you have a topic suggestion, please complete this form.
