PTSA Honored With Awards At Kentucky PTA Convention

I am proud to report that our PTSA represented our school and district very well at the recent Kentucky PTA convention, bringing home awards for Outstanding Membership Campaign, Outstanding Website, and my favorite – Outstanding Volunteer Participation. It is my favorite because it recognizes what truly makes our PTSA so outstanding – each and every one of you who contribute in some way toward our goal of student success through parent involvement.

Read the award criteria here, and see Trish Kline accept the award on our behalf at the recent Kentucky PTA convention (begins at 33:15 mark).

Now more than ever, as our school and district and public education in general face increasing challenges, it is SO critical that we have a significant voice. That will not happen without your support, so please join or renew (and encourage your friends to do so as well) today for the 2018-19 school year: http://bit.ly/JoinManualPTSA.

If you would like to volunteer, whether it is an hour or two once a year, once a month, or once a week, we need you! Email our Volunteer Coordinator Laura Bollinger or reach out to one of our committee chairs to learn what might be a good fit. You will be so glad you did.
