The Manual PTSA Advocacy Committee wants to ensure that your input is heard as the Board of Education selects an interim Superintendent, and then processes the hiring of the new Superintendent.
We will be seeking information from students, teachers, parents, staff, family members, and other Manual community members, so please share this request with those folks in your network.
The public is invited to join the League of Women Voters for a Dinner and Democracy Panel Discussion on What’s Happening with Charter Schools.
Charter legislation WILL be on the agenda this legislative session, so it’s important that we all be as informed as possible.
The 15th District PTA is hosting a School Board Candidates’ Forum on Wednesday, October 26, 2016. Since duPont Manual High School is a magnet, Manual has students from all seven JCPS districts. Three districts will be having elections and the results may impact Manual High School. Please consider attending the forum and on election day supporting the candidate who shares your ideals. The Forum will be held at VanHoose Education Center located at 3332 Newburg Road in Stewart Auditorium. The districts electing representation are Districts 2, 4, and 7.
