Important Information regarding Shadowing
Shadowing at duPont Manual will begin October 1st.
Shadowing visits end on January 31st. Please refer to the Admission page for information about the admission process and deadlines at duPont Manual.
We will begin taking shadow request calls on September 15th.
Please know what magnet program your child would like to shadow and have a couple of available dates as certain dates fill up quickly and some dates are unavailable for shadowing. Your student may only shadow ONE magnet program. Also, if there is a same gender Freshman in the same magnet already attending Manual, you may request that student as your host. All shadows must be 8th graders. Jefferson County Public School students may not shadow any JCPS high school per district guidelines.

This testing is administered by Jefferson County and arrangements can be made by calling Options & Magnets at 485-3323. When you submit your application, please note on it that your child is scheduled for Advance Testing. Once you have a copy of the results, please mail it to Manual noting your child's name and program so it can be attached to the application. If your child has taken the test within the past 2 years and you have the results, please include a copy of the results with your application.
