The PTSA Alumni Service Corps is a group of parents whose kids have graduated from Manual. They stay active at Manual by assisting the PTSA. The Corps assists on PTSA committees, at Manual registration, at Open House, and with the PTSA membership drive. The goals of the group is to stay connected to the Manual PTSA, support Manual, Crimson Mission, and the PTSA, and to have fun.
PTSA Alumni Service Corps member Pinky Jackson believes that, “teaching students takes an intergenerational village” and Manual parents of graduated students can fill a vital role in continuing the success of the Manual students. Ms. Jackson wants to raise awareness that parents of Manual graduates can continue to volunteer at the school.
The PTSA Alumni Service Corps is not the Manual Alumni Association. There are no dues to join and no requirements. It is a way for parents of graduates to stay connected to each other and Manual. The group provides volunteers when the PTSA or school needs assistance.
Currently the group uses email to communicate with its members. If you would like to join the Corps and continue to volunteer at Manual, please contact Pinky Jackson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
